The listing does not specify a target frame rate, resolution, or graphics preset for these minimum specs, so meeting them alone does not establish how smoothly the game will run on a particular PC. How to check whether your Windows PC meets the minimums
- Check your Windows version. Open Settings → System → About and look under Windows specifications. The game’s listed minimum is 64-bit Windows 7.
- Check your processor and memory. In Settings → System → About, review the processor and installed RAM. Compare the processor with the listed 2.5 GHz quad-core Intel or AMD minimum and verify you have at least 4 GB RAM.
- Check your graphics card. Open Device Manager → Display adapters to identify the GPU, then compare it with the NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD listed by Steam.
- Check available storage. In Settings → System → Storage, confirm that at least 3 GB is available for installation.
These checks compare your hardware with the publisher’s stated minimums; they are not a performance test.

Windows 7 game requirement versus Steam Client support
The Steam listing makes two separate statements: the game’s minimum operating system is Windows 7 64-bit, while a Steam Client notice says that, starting January 1, 2024, the Steam Client supports Windows 10 and later. The client notice concerns the software used to access Steam; it does not change the game’s listed minimum OS. In practice, someone using Windows 7 should account for Steam’s newer client-support requirement as well as the game requirement. Steam lists both notices on the game page.
What kind of game is Choo-Choo Charles?
It is a train-based horror game set on an island. You explore by rail, plan routes across winding tracks, complete missions, and loot for Scraps to improve your engine. Settlers can offer weapons and other items in return for help, and the main questline culminates in summoning Charles—a hostile spider train—for a duel. Steam identifies Two Star Games as the developer and December 9, 2022 as the release date. The Steam page describes the game and its release details.
