As of October 7, 2026, Kauaʻi is available in The Crew Motorfest as free Season 11 content. Update the game, open its Playlist or Activity menu, and choose Kauaʻi Expeditions to begin exploring. Ubisoft’s published notes do not specify a precise button sequence or player-level requirement.
Start Kauaʻi Expeditions
- Update the game. Season 11 and its Kauaʻi content became available on October 7, 2026, according to Ubisoft’s Season 11 notes and overview.
- Open the Playlist or Activity menu. Ubisoft’s official materials direct players to the game’s playlist activities but do not document the exact menu path, tile position, or platform-specific button prompts.
- Select Kauaʻi Expeditions. This is the free Season 11 playlist for exploring the new island. Select it to start the campaign and follow the activities shown in game.
If the playlist does not appear, first confirm the game has updated and check the current Activity/Playlist interface. The available official notes do not establish a required player level or prerequisite event for Kauaʻi Expeditions, so a specific unlock condition should not be assumed.

What Kauaʻi Expeditions activities involve
Kauaʻi Expeditions is an off-road exploration campaign, not simply a set of races. Ubisoft describes activities involving surveying terrain, opening blocked routes, and transporting cargo. The Season 11 Winch feature is available on selected vehicles and helps clear obstacles or move cargo in specific activities; it is not described as a requirement for every event. See Ubisoft’s Season 11 overview for the official feature description.
Explore and reveal routes
Season 11 also introduces Road Progression across Oʻahu, Maui, and Kauaʻi. Driving on the islands gradually reveals routes and records exploration progress. The feature became available on October 7, 2026, per Ubisoft’s season overview.

Island scale and terrain
Ubisoft’s 2026 overview gives Kauaʻi’s route figures as 95 km of asphalt and 105 km of off-road routes. These are Ubisoft’s published game-content figures, not independently measured real-world distances. The overview also describes more than 40 wildlife species across the archipelago.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Kauaʻi is not the same island as Niʻihau
The free Kauaʻi update is distinct from the Tomb Raider-themed Secrets of Ni’ihau playlist and Niʻihau island content. Ubisoft’s Season 11 materials identify Kauaʻi Expeditions as free, while Niʻihau and its playlist require Year Pass 4 or the separately sold DLC. Choosing or owning the pass does not unlock Kauaʻi; its expedition playlist is free season content.

Ubisoft’s Season 11 announcement and official season notes describe the new content and its availability. The game itself is required to play; the island update does not mean the base game is included.

What to check if you cannot find the playlist
- Make sure Season 11 has been installed and the game is current for your platform.
- Look in the in-game Playlist or Activity interface; Ubisoft says the Activity Menu layout was reworked in Season 10, but its official notes do not establish Kauaʻi’s exact tile location.
- Confirm you are searching for Kauaʻi Expeditions, not the paid Secrets of Ni’ihau playlist.
- If the playlist remains unavailable, check the current game interface or an updated official guide. The published Season 11 material does not state a level gate, an introductory-event requirement, or exact controller instructions.
