What to know about the Lonely Tower
Dog Online’s official Free Dog’s Free Advice page, dated September 29, 2026, reports that “All hardiness reqs removed” and “All coordination reqs removed.” It also says the Third Trinket Slot Book was added as a drop from Crony Bones. These changes may affect older build or equipment guides.
The same update says most trinkets now give Max HP and that the Ivory Tower doubles starting HP. It also lists effect changes to three frisbees, Christmas wand, Half-off toy wand, Pawberry Pixie Stick, Cardboard Box, Miniature Doghouse, Fortified Doghouse, Dango Spear, Sneeze Staff, Holy Cannoli, and Squeaky Toy Hammer. The page does not make those changes a stable tactical recommendation; check current in-game effects when choosing equipment.

Is Dog Online a virtual pet game?
It has dog customization and a dog-themed world, which fit the virtual-pet framing. However, the official feature descriptions reviewed establish activities such as dress-up, exploration, collections, quests, and Tower battles—not standard care routines like feeding or grooming. Think of it as a broader dog-themed browser game with social, collection, and RPG elements rather than assuming it works like a conventional pet-care simulator.

The official homepage is the best starting point for its activity navigation and current notices. Its September 30, 2026 news item mentions new theme options and account-recovery navigation. The Explore, Toys, and Doghouse pages displayed only a loading placeholder in the indexed view, so their detailed instructions and live contents could not be confirmed here.
