If Dog Online at dogonline.net will not load, start with a refresh, then restart your browser and test another current browser. If it will not save or your progress is missing, avoid clearing cookies or site data until you have checked the browser and account you used before. Dog Online’s homepage links to Account Recovery for account-access problems; the browser-save checks below are general guidance, not confirmation of how Dog Online stores progress.
First, identify what is failing
“Not loading,” “not saving,” and “lost progress” can point to different problems. A blank game page calls for browser-loading checks. Missing progress may involve browser data, a different browser profile or device, or account access. Dog Online’s homepage identifies the game and links to Account Recovery, but it does not describe the game’s save system or current technical issues.
- The game does not load: Try the low-risk browser checks below before changing stored data.
- Progress is not saving or has disappeared: Check whether browser settings or a changed profile could affect local data, and preserve cookies and site data while troubleshooting.
- You cannot access your account: Use Dog Online’s official Account Recovery route.
If Dog Online is not loading
Work through these checks in order. Browser-game support pages from Spil Games and Miniclip recommend several of these general steps, but they are not Dog Online-specific fixes.
- Reload the page. If a normal refresh does not work, try a hard refresh to request the page again.
- Restart the browser. Close it completely, open it again, and revisit Dog Online.
- Try another current browser. If the game loads there, the problem may be specific to the original browser or its settings. Spil Games and Miniclip both recommend testing another browser; Miniclip also recommends keeping the browser updated.
- Temporarily disable extensions. An extension may interfere with page or game content. Miniclip includes this as a general troubleshooting step for loading problems.
- Check pop-up blocking and available memory. EA Pogo lists turning off pop-up blockers and closing other programs or tabs as general steps for its games. These checks may be worth trying, but Dog Online’s specific requirements are not established.
- If it still fails, use the appropriate official route. Use Account Recovery for account-access trouble. A loading failure that persists across browsers may need help from Dog Online; the available official information does not identify an outage-reporting or technical-support process.
If Dog Online is not saving progress
Some browser games use cookies or local storage for login and progress. Spil Games says these features support functions such as logging in and saving on its platform, while Poki warns that cookie blocking can prevent saving on its platform. Those examples make browser storage a sensible check, but they do not establish Dog Online’s save architecture.

- Allow cookies and local storage for the game site. Check your browser’s site settings for dogonline.net. Spil Games’ support advice is: “We recommend you set your browser to enable local storage and cookies while playing on our site.” That recommendation applies to Spil Games, not specifically to Dog Online.
- Avoid private browsing for a session where you expect progress to persist. Poki warns that private browsing can prevent saving on its platform. Whether that applies to Dog Online depends on how Dog Online stores progress.
- Return to the same browser profile and device. Arkadium explains that progress in games using local browser storage may not follow you to another browser or device. If you changed profiles or devices, try the original one.
- Check automatic cleanup. Browser settings or cleanup programs can remove site data. Arkadium identifies browser cleanup as one possible explanation for lost browser-local progress on its platform.
- Separate account access from local progress. If the problem is signing into an account, use Dog Online’s Account Recovery page. Recovery may address access, but it does not guarantee restoration of missing game progress.
Should you clear the cache or cookies?
Do not make clearing cookies or all site data an early troubleshooting step if you want to preserve progress. Spil Games warns that clearing cache or data can lose progress in casual games, and Arkadium says clearing cookies can remove browser-local saves on its platform. These are platform-specific warnings, but they support taking care with browser data.
If you decide to clear anything, first look for a cache-only option that leaves cookies and site data intact. The exact controls vary by browser. Clearing all data may remove information needed for login or local saves, and there is no established way to restore Dog Online progress lost that way.

What the checks can—and cannot—tell you
If Dog Online works in another browser, that points toward a browser-specific setting or extension rather than proving the cause. If it fails in multiple browsers, these checks still cannot establish whether the game is experiencing an outage or a game-specific defect. The official homepage links to Account Recovery for account problems, but the available site information does not explain Dog Online’s compatibility requirements, save mechanism, outage status, or known issues.
