To claim the free Yeddy Outfit, open Fortnite on a mobile device, use the in-game Invite a Friend button to invite an eligible friend, then play and level up. Epic says this reward is mobile-only. Fortnite returned to Google Play worldwide on March 19, 2026, but Epic’s instructions do not say that the offer is still available or give it an end date, so check the offer in-game before you start.
How to get the Yeddy Outfit
- Open Fortnite on a mobile device. Epic’s Yeddy instructions specify mobile play.
- Select Invite a Friend in the Fortnite app.
- Send an invitation to an eligible friend. Epic’s support instructions do not define what makes a friend eligible.
- Play Fortnite and level up to unlock the Outfit.
These are Epic’s published steps for the reward. They do not require a purchase. Epic’s Yeddy Outfit support instructions say the unlock is available on mobile only.

Is Fortnite back on Google Play?
Yes. Epic announced Fortnite’s worldwide return to Google Play on March 19, 2026, saying it was “back on Google Play” and easier to play with friends on Android. The announcement also promoted Yeddy: players could send an invite through the Fortnite app’s Invite a Friend button and level up to get the Outfit. Read Epic’s March 19, 2026 announcement.
Where to play Fortnite on Android
Epic currently lists two Android download options: Google Play and the Epic Games Store for mobile. The Yeddy instructions require Fortnite on mobile, but do not say that Google Play is the only qualifying installation route. See Epic’s Android guide.

Epic also lists Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna for cloud play in supported regions. However, Epic’s Yeddy instructions do not confirm that streaming counts toward the reward. Use the mobile app and check the in-game offer’s terms rather than assuming cloud play will unlock the Outfit.
Check whether the offer is still available
Epic’s return announcement confirms the promotion at the time of the March 19, 2026 launch, but the support instructions reviewed do not provide an end date. They also do not explain friend eligibility. Before inviting someone, open Fortnite and review the current Invite a Friend offer and its displayed requirements. If the offer no longer appears, the published information here does not establish that it can still be claimed.

Avoid fake free-skin offers
Epic warns players not to trust suspicious external offers for free Epic products or V-Bucks. Legitimate offers are presented through official Epic channels. For Yeddy, use the in-game invitation flow rather than a third-party site that asks for account credentials, payment, or personal details. Epic’s free Fortnite items guidance describes official ways items may be earned and cautions against suspicious offers.
