Divine Bird Warrior Ornis is a Spirit Ash in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. It costs 131 FP to summon and is found in a chest in the ruins north of Temple Town Ruins, reached by using a nearby Spiritspring to access the elevated ruins.
Where to find Divine Bird Warrior Ornis
Start from the Temple Town Ruins Site of Grace and head north, uphill toward the Spiritspring. Use the Spiritspring to launch onto the higher ruins, then follow the ledge route and continue uphill to a chest inside a building. The chest contains the Divine Bird Warrior Ornis Ashes. Elden Ring Wiki’s location guide describes the ledge, gap, and uphill approach; Game8’s guide identifies the destination as Rauh Ruins and refers to the Spiritspring as a Spiritstream.
Access requirement
Ornis is expansion content from Shadow of the Erdtree. Game8 says access to the expansion requires defeating Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood; its guide was last updated June 28, 2024. See Game8’s expansion and location guide.
What does Ornis cost and do?
The Spirit Ash has a listed FP cost of 131 and summons the spirit of the divine bird warrior. The item listing provides the cost. If you are deciding whether to use Ornis, consider how its survivability and ability to hold enemy attention fit your build and the encounter. There are no comparable measured values here for other summons, so the available evidence does not establish that Ornis is objectively one of the strongest Spirit Ashes.

The in-game Spirit Ash description reads: “Spirit of the divine bird warrior from whom the horned warriors claimed descent. Clad in golden armor, and granted wings and feathers of divine invocation. Ornis succeeded in taming the divine bird and made its wings his own as he soared through the sky. When he finally fell to earth, he lived on as the guardian deity of the temple quarter.” The item reference reproduces the description.
