When did Delta Force: Black Hawk Down come to console?
The console release date was August 19, 2025, for both Xbox Series X|S and PS5. The date is now a past launch, not an upcoming release window. Is Delta Force: Black Hawk Down available on PS5 and Xbox?
| Platform | Status | Access details |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox Series X|S | Released August 19, 2025 | Xbox Wire said the campaign would be available as a free download on launch day. The Xbox store listing gives the same release date. |
| PlayStation 5 | Released August 19, 2025 | The PlayStation Store lists the campaign as free. Online features require a PlayStation account. |
The confirmed console platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The official sources cited here do not establish a release for another console, a physical disc edition, or a future platform date.
Is this a port of the 2003 Black Hawk Down game?
No. The current console release is the Black Hawk Down campaign within Delta Force. The Xbox product listing calls it a reboot of the classic film and a love letter to the original 2003 Delta Force: Black Hawk Down; that wording does not mean the old standalone game itself has been ported.

What kind of campaign is included?
Xbox Wire described the launch campaign as PvE single-player. Its June 30, 2025 announcement said: “The PvE single-player campaign, Black Hawk Down, will be available on day one as well!” The official store pages cited here do not establish whether console co-op was added later or is planned, so they are not a basis for promising co-op support.
