Which Forza game has split-screen?
Forza Motorsport 7 is the directly confirmed choice. Microsoft’s Xbox product listing identifies the game as supporting two-player Xbox local co-op and shared/split screen. The listing names Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as platforms.
The page also says, “Features may vary between Xbox One and Windows 10 versions of game.” It does not separately confirm split-screen for Windows, so treat the documented option as Xbox support and check the specific platform and edition before buying.
Does Forza Horizon support local split-screen?
The official Forza Horizon 6 page and materials for Forza Horizon 5 describe online, shared-world, or co-op play. Those features involve playing with other people online; they are not proof that two players can share one screen on one console. The reviewed official pages do not claim local split-screen for Horizon.

Likewise, the newer Forza Motorsport multiplayer modes described by Turn 10 focus on online play. The studio’s 2023 multiplayer overview covers Featured Multiplayer, Private Multiplayer, and Rivals, not a confirmation of couch split-screen.
Local split-screen versus online multiplayer
- Local split-screen: two players play on the same console and display, with the screen divided between them. This is what Microsoft’s Xbox listing confirms for Forza Motorsport 7.
- Online multiplayer or co-op: players connect over a network, usually on separate systems or screens. A game being described as multiplayer or co-op does not by itself mean it supports local split-screen.
What to check before choosing a game
- For confirmed same-screen play, look for Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox and verify that the listing or edition you are considering matches your console.
- Do not assume the Windows PC version has the Xbox version’s local-play features; Microsoft explicitly warns that features can vary by platform.
- The product listing confirms two-player local co-op, but does not specify controller or account setup. Check the game’s current platform-specific details if you need those requirements before playing.
How the older Forza titles fit in
Forza Support’s series overview provides platform context for Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Motorsport 6, and Horizon, but the materials reviewed do not verify split-screen for every older entry. So Forza Motorsport 7 is the confirmed answer here—not a basis for claiming it is the only Forza game ever to have had the feature.

Online-service status is a separate issue: Turn 10 said online services for Forza Horizon and Forza Horizon 2 closed on August 22, 2023, while their single-player portions remained available to existing owners. That notice does not establish whether either game supports local split-screen.
