Yes. The Sword of Night and Flame scales with Faith: its listed Faith scaling rises from D at base level to B at +10. Intelligence scales the weapon too, with the same listed grades, so Faith is not its only relevant damage stat.
How Faith scaling works on this weapon
The weapon table lists D Faith scaling at base level and B at +10. It also lists D-to-B Intelligence scaling over those upgrade levels, while Strength and Dexterity go from E to D. Those letters are broad grades, not a promise of a specific damage increase. Bandai Namco explains that weapon scaling grades run from S through E, that higher grades generally mean more bonus damage as the corresponding attribute rises, and that upgrading a weapon also improves its scaling. Two weapons with the same grade may still gain different amounts of bonus damage. Bandai Namco’s advanced-stats guide gives this general explanation.
How much Faith and Intelligence do you need?
The listed minimum requirements are 24 Faith and 24 Intelligence, plus 12 Strength and 12 Dexterity. Bandai Namco cautions that damage is significantly reduced when a character does not meet a weapon’s requirements. Check your attributes against all four requirements before judging the weapon’s damage.

Should you level Faith or Intelligence?
Both Faith and Intelligence are relevant: the weapon’s table gives them matching scaling grades at the listed base and +10 levels. That does not establish that each point invested produces identical damage, or that either stat will always be the better choice for a particular character. The outcome depends on your stats and the weapon’s upgrade level; compare the in-game attack power for your actual build rather than treating a letter grade as an exact damage forecast.
Bandai Namco describes scaling softcaps around 20, 50, and 80 for Intelligence and Faith. These are general guidance, not a weapon-specific damage calculation. Your return from additional levels can vary by weapon and stat.

Can you change the weapon’s scaling?
No. The weapon reference says its affinity and skill cannot be changed, so you cannot use an Ash of War or affinity to reconfigure its scaling. Its listed scaling improves through weapon upgrades instead.

Bandai Namco’s Patch 1.09 notes, dated March 23, 2023, describe broad scaling adjustments and several individual balance changes but do not name the Sword of Night and Flame. Those notes therefore do not establish the weapon’s exact current damage or prove that it has never changed.
