Where can you download Cyberpunk 2077?
CD PROJEKT RED lists GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam as sources for the Mac version. Epic’s listing identifies both Windows and Mac OS. The Mac App Store is another Mac download option, with a different listed storage requirement. Store availability, editions, and purchase terms can change, so confirm the platform and edition shown in your country before checkout.
- Windows: Check the storefront’s current Windows listing and its system requirements.
- Mac: The publisher lists GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam; the Mac App Store is a separate option.
Do not assume a purchase on one storefront includes a copy for another operating system. Confirm the platform entitlement on the specific listing. Compare the edition and whether it includes Phantom Liberty, along with account or launcher requirements, regional terms, and the price displayed at checkout.
Can your Windows PC run Cyberpunk 2077?
CD PROJEKT RED’s Windows requirements page describes configurations for Update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. The following are the publisher’s non-ray-tracing tiers; performance targets are not guarantees for every system.

The publisher also lists more demanding Ultra and ray-tracing tiers. For example, its Ray Tracing Overdrive row specifies a Core i9-12900 or Ryzen 9 7900X, RTX 4080 with 16 GB VRAM, 24 GB RAM, and 70 GB NVMe, targeting 4K/2160p at an expected 60 FPS. The publisher says this Overdrive measurement used DLSS Frame Generation. Check the full requirements table if you intend to use ray tracing or a higher preset.
Epic’s listing may not match every detail or wording on the publisher’s page. Its Windows display includes DirectX 12 and lists 90 GB with Phantom Liberty, while the publisher’s base requirement lists 70 GB SSD. Treat the publisher’s current page as the reference for game requirements, and check the storefront listing for its own current download details.

Can your Mac run Cyberpunk 2077?
The Mac version requires macOS 15.5 or later and Apple M-series hardware. The publisher’s tiers differ by chip, memory, resolution, and target frame rate; they do not establish support for Intel Macs.

Use the complete Mac requirements table to match your exact chip and memory to its listed settings and resolution. The “For This Mac” preset selects settings and resolution for the individual computer; ray tracing is not applied by default. The publisher warns that choosing a higher resolution can significantly affect frame rate and recommends the preset’s resolution for external displays.

How much storage does the download need?
CD PROJEKT RED lists 70 GB on an SSD for the Windows minimum and recommended tiers, and 70 GB on NVMe for the listed Windows Ultra tiers. For Mac, its requirements page lists different figures by storefront:

These are the publisher’s listed requirements, not a guarantee of total temporary space during download or installation. The Mac page says additional space needs vary by files, storefront, and whether the process is a first install or an update, and advises leaving extra room. It also requires an SSD; HDD installation is unsupported.

Download and install the right version
- Choose the operating system: Start at the storefront and confirm that the listing explicitly supports Windows or Mac.
- Check the edition: Review what is included, including whether Phantom Liberty is part of the listing, before paying.
- Match your computer to the publisher’s requirements: Use the Windows or Mac page for your platform rather than combining their hardware tiers.
- Check available storage: Ensure the required drive has enough free space, with extra room for Mac installation or updates.
- Download through the storefront: Follow its install flow and account requirements. Store prices, regional terms, and refunds are set by the storefront and should be checked there.
