No. As of October 8, 2026, Roblox identifies David Baszucki as its Founder and Chief Executive Officer. The company’s 2026 proxy statement also lists him as President and CEO and says he serves as Chair of the Board. Those records confirm his role as of their stated dates; they cannot rule out a change after that.
What Roblox’s records say
Roblox’s leadership page lists Baszucki as “Founder and Chief Executive Officer.” The company’s 2026 proxy statement gives a dated confirmation: its executive-officer table lists him as “Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer” as of April 1, 2026. The filing also says he serves as both Chair of the Board and CEO.
Roblox’s careers homepage also refers to Dave Baszucki as CEO. That provides additional company context, while the proxy is the dated formal record.
Does the proxy’s employment language mean he resigned?
No. The proxy says Baszucki’s confirmatory employment letter has no specific term and describes him as an at-will employee. That is a description of his employment arrangement, not evidence that he quit or that Roblox announced his departure.

No specific departure announcement or confirmed origin for a claim that he quit was established. Treat an unsourced post or rumor as unconfirmed unless Roblox or another reliable source reports a change. Executive positions can change, so the status here is time-bounded: Roblox’s records identify Baszucki as CEO as of October 8, 2026.
