Yes—but only before launch. DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Edition offered up to two days of early access ahead of the game’s May 15, 2025 release, with access beginning at midnight UTC on May 13. That window has ended, so buying Premium Edition now does not provide early access.
Which edition included early access?
Bethesda attached the pre-release offer to the Premium Edition, not the standard game. Its January 2025 preorder announcement described the benefit as up to two days before launch: Bethesda’s Premium Edition details.

| Option | Early access before launch? | What that means now |
|---|---|---|
| Standard game | No early-access benefit was stated for this edition in Bethesda’s January 2025 preorder announcement. | It is a way to play the base game, but it did not include the Premium Edition’s pre-release window. |
| Premium Edition | Yes. Up to two days before the May 15, 2025 launch; access began May 13 at midnight UTC. | The early-access period is over. The edition’s other included content is the relevant difference for a current purchase. |
What did the Premium Edition include?
Bethesda’s preorder announcement listed the base game, a digital artbook and soundtrack, Divinity character and vehicle skins, and campaign DLC with Premium Edition. The publisher later identified the released Revelations expansion as included in Premium Edition; see its Revelations announcement.
