On August 12, 2024, TheBadGamer reported on a Reddit post by user pianoko titled “7 hours into a no-death run and this happens.” According to the report, the player had spent seven hours attempting an all-boss run when, after defeating Flying Dragon Agheel near Limgrave’s Agheel Lake, the camera snapped and the character model was pushed into a tree stump. The character then died.

Is that the incident behind the May 2026 headline?

Does a glitch death count as a failed no-death run?
