The confirmed Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO expansion is Super Limit-Breaking NEO, released July 30, 2026. It adds 33 playable characters, four Episode Battles, four stages and the Limit Breaker Journey mode. A separate October roster claim is circulating in a community forum, but it remains unverified—not an official announcement.
What the “Sparking Zero DLC leaked” claim refers to
There are two different stories behind searches for a leaked DLC roster. Bandai Namco officially announced and released Super Limit-Breaking NEO on July 30, 2026. Separately, an October 7 forum post repeated an alleged datamine roster and costumes; its poster said they could not confirm whether it was real and cautioned readers against jumping to conclusions. The available account does not independently verify the alleged files or identify who first found them, so the roster should be treated as rumor, not confirmed DLC. Kanzenshuu community discussion

Paid expansion content versus the free update
NEO is downloadable content for the base game. Bandai Namco described Sparking Boost and Chain Blast, as well as three stage variants, as part of a free update accompanying the expansion’s launch. - Confirm that you own Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO on the platform where you intend to play. NEO is an add-on, not a standalone game.
- Open the storefront for that platform and territory, then check the NEO listing for compatibility, availability, and the current price. Bandai Namco links to official storefronts in its DLC catalogue; Steam also lists the game’s digital DLC.
- Before purchasing, confirm the listing is for Super Limit-Breaking NEO rather than the base game or another add-on, and check the displayed contents and any bundle terms.
Store prices and availability can vary by region and change over time. Buying the base game alone does not establish ownership of the separate NEO add-on.
