4. Fiorentina: develop talent and challenge Italy’s elite

- Start Manager Career. Select the club-management experience rather than Player Career if you want control of a squad, tactics, transfers, finances and player development.
- Download the latest available FC 24 squad update. EA says squad updates provide current transfers and ratings. A roster update can change the players and ratings relevant to your save, so avoid treating older guide examples as guaranteed current details.
- Check club availability in that squad setup. The shortlist comes from 2024 editorial coverage, and club availability can depend on the FC 24 setup you select. This is especially important for Bordeaux.
- Set a realistic first objective. Decide whether the opening season is about promotion, survival, youth minutes, or progress in a cup or league campaign, then shape recruitment and development around it.
EA’s Career Mode guide describes development options including coaches, loans, free agents, scouting and promoting youth academy players. Those tools support different rebuild styles: for example, youth development can be central to a patient project, while a promotion push may call for a more immediate squad balance.
Which team should you choose?
Pick Paris FC, Leeds, Bordeaux, Hertha or Saint-Étienne for a promotion-led save; Everton, Valencia, Saint-Étienne or Bordeaux for a restoration story; and Fiorentina, Real Sociedad, Valencia or Paris FC for a youth-and-recruitment focus. For the clearest title-chasing premise, Frankfurt is framed around the Bundesliga and European honors, while Everton, Leeds and Real Sociedad offer their own routes toward bigger domestic or continental ambitions.
These are recommendations, not a claim that one club is universally most enjoyable. Other guides choose different teams—including Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, Hamburger SV, AC Milan and Wrexham—underscoring that the right rebuild depends on the challenge you prefer.
