The Electric Pylon is a Palworld base structure reported to increase electricity generation by Pals doing power-related work. It affects the base as a whole, so placing extra pylons does not add another boost. The exact in-game unlock sequence and crafting recipe are not firmly established by the available references; check the current technology and build menus before gathering materials.
What the Electric Pylon does
The Palworld Wiki describes the Electric Pylon as increasing the electricity-generation speed contributed by Pals assigned to power-related work. It reports that the effect applies across the base and that additional pylons do not stack. The reference does not provide a dependable percentage, so there is no supported figure for how large the increase is. Palworld Wiki: Electric Pylon
This is an in-game efficiency structure, not real-world electrical equipment. Pocketpair’s official server documentation lists the item as TransmissionTower in its version 1.0.4 technology-ID listing. That confirms the item’s identifier, but the page does not explain its gameplay effect. Pocketpair: Technology ID list
Where to place it
A Steam community response says the pylon can be built anywhere within the base boundary; it does not need to be beside a generator. Treat this as player guidance rather than an official placement rule. Steam community discussion

Unlocking and crafting
A research-tree reference associates “Electric Pylon Development” with “Generating Electricity.” That supports a connection to the research category, but it does not settle every prerequisite or the exact unlock order. Check the current in-game technology tree for the requirement shown in your build. Palworld Wiki: Technology
Published recipe listings conflict substantially: the Palworld Wiki lists 100 Ingots, 30 Electric Organs, and 20 Circuit Boards, while a separate database lists 20 Ingots, 2 Bio Batteries, and 5 Circuit Boards. Neither listing is official, so do not rely on either as definitive; use the materials displayed in your current build menu. Palworld Wiki: Electric Pylon PalDB: Electric Pylon

If your base still needs more power
The pylon is only one potential lever in the power system. Community troubleshooting discussions also point to generator capacity, whether assigned Pals are suitable for electricity work, and how much power your structures consume.
