Escape from Tarkov update 0.15.2.0, announced for September 26, 2024, expanded map-to-map transit: transitions became available in every raid, including to Player Scavs, and could be activated one minute after a raid began. The update also added 13 listed route directions and marked the end of the Marathon event, while leaving its achievement and some quests obtainable.
When did Escape from Tarkov 0.15.2 release?
Battlestate Games announced update 0.15.2.0 for September 26, 2024, with an estimated maintenance period of about five hours and the possibility that maintenance could run longer. Battlestate Games’ official Telegram announcement is the source for the maintenance notice. The version and date are also listed by the community-maintained Escape from Tarkov changelog.
What changed about map transit in 0.15.2?
In the 0.15.2-era rules, transitions between locations were available in every raid and to Player Scavs. The activation wait was reduced to one minute after the raid started. The patch notes describe transitions as an expanded travel option; they do not say that players had to use one instead of an ordinary extract.

The patch-note list names these 13 directional routes. Treat them as the routes listed for version 0.15.2, not as a verified list of routes in the present-day game.

The detailed route list is reproduced in a community-hosted copy of the patch notes. Route availability and mechanics may have changed after 0.15.2; the sources here do not establish the current transit network.
What happened to the Marathon event?
Battlestate Games said, “With update 0.15.2, the in-game event ‘Marathon’ will be completed.” The event ended with the update, but the official post said its unique achievement would remain obtainable and a number of quests from its chain would stay available. Transitions were also to be available in all raids. Read the official announcement on Telegram.

What other changes were listed?
The detailed community-hosted patch-note copy includes balance, barter, task, and reward adjustments. These are selected examples from the notes, not a complete list:
- Armor barters: New barters were added for BNTI Gzhel-K armor without ballistic plates and 6B43 Zabralo-Sh armor without ballistic plates.
- Vulkan-5 LShZ-5 helmet: Its armor class decreased from 6 to 5 and armor points from 99 to 75. The notes also report reduced cost and wearing penalties, plus an increased spawn chance.
- Tasks: Requirements changed for Punisher – Part 5, Spa Tour – Part 3, and Slaughterhouse.
- Ammunition rewards: Some ammunition rewards were replaced with corresponding ammo packs.
The detailed list is in the community-hosted patch-note copy. A community-maintained changelog also records version 0.15.2.0.32678 on September 26, 2024, and a September 30 fix for an issue that could leave players stuck at a 0:00 timer while loading into a raid.
