Its launch ranged-weapon pool centered on overheating blasters, with the Thermal Imploder as the exception; lightsabers came from Force training or another player, not ordinary ground loot. Epic then added weapons, abilities, and vehicles over the season. This is a retrospective: the Battle Pass ran through June 7, 2025, Eastern Time, and the map and loot pool described here are no longer current live content.
What changed on the Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars season map?
Epic’s Galactic Battle began May 2, 2025, and gave four existing areas Star Wars-themed replacements rather than rebuilding the whole island. GameSpot identified the locations each base replaced:

GameSpot also reported returning Chapter 6 locations including Flooded Frogs, Magic Mosses, Pumped Power, Lonewolf Lair, Brutal Boxcars, Foxy Floodgate, Seaport City, Shining Span, Masked Meadows, Kappa Kappa Factory, Canyon Crossing, Shiny Shafts, Outlaw Oasis, and Crime City. That is a reported list, not a verified exhaustive inventory of every island location.
Star Destroyer map feature
Epic scheduled a Star Destroyer interaction for May 29, 2025. A portal in a control room was to spawn each match; the first player to reach it could control the ship’s turbolaser. GameSpot described the Star Destroyer as an additional location or point of interest from that date.

What changed in the Galactic Battle loot pool?
Launch weapons: blasters and the Thermal Imploder
Epic described the launch lineup as “blasters-only on day one,” except for the Thermal Imploder. The named blasters were the DL-44 Blaster Pistol, ACP Scatter Blaster, and E-11 Blaster. Blasters overheated, so firing required managing heat rather than holding the trigger continuously. Epic’s announcement did not establish every patch-level adjustment or a complete final-season loot pool.
Lightsabers and Force abilities
Lightsabers were not standard ground loot: Epic said players could earn one by training in the Force or take one from another player. Hologram characters taught Force abilities. The PlayStation Blog listed Force Push, Force Lightning, and Force Saber Throw as day-one abilities, with more abilities becoming learnable later. GameSpot identified Rey and Emperor Palpatine as day-one trainers and reported later additions.

Weapons and gear added during the season
Epic’s announced schedule expanded the pool in stages:

How did vehicles affect the season?
Epic introduced two Star Wars aircraft. The Imperial TIE fighter carried one passenger and had high-powered blasters; the X-wing was described as nimble and useful for covering ground quickly. These vehicles added a rotation option alongside the season’s blaster and Force-focused combat. The available announcement describes their broad roles, not detailed handling or weapon statistics.

Epic said the Battle Pass was available until June 7, 2025, Eastern Time, and scheduled the season’s Death Star Sabotage event for that date. The map, weapons, and timing above describe this limited 2025 season, not Fortnite’s current island or loot pool.
