One of the two major claims in the November 2025 Fortnite Chapter 7 leak report came true: Epic confirmed drivable Reboot Vans for Chapter 7 Battle Royale. The reported dedicated Solo vs Bots mode is a different story—its release has not been verified by the official sources reviewed here.
What did the Fortnite Chapter 7 leak report claim?
On November 20, 2025, Insider Gaming reported leaks following a creator preview in Los Angeles. The report attributed claims about drivable Reboot Vans, gameplay UI changes and a dedicated Solo vs Bots mode to leakers including ShiinaBR. It described the mode as a solo experience but said details were limited. These were leak claims, not an Epic announcement.

The claims need to be treated separately: a vehicle mechanic was subsequently confirmed, while the mode remains unverified in the official material reviewed.
Were drivable Reboot Vans added to Fortnite?
Yes. Epic confirmed the feature in its Chapter Seven: Pacific Break v39.00 update notes, dated November 29, 2025. Epic wrote: “Drivable Reboot Vans have rolled onto the Island, letting you transport your next potential reboot wherever it’s needed.” The confirmation was for Battle Royale at Chapter 7’s launch.

The van makes a reboot opportunity mobile rather than fixed in one place. Epic’s launch notes also describe reviving downed players at the van: a knocked teammate can crawl or be carried to its rear for a revive. This is the confirmed gameplay feature behind the leak headline.
How did the vans change after launch?
Epic’s January 2026 Battle Royale 39.10 update notes discussed starting fuel and reduced boost fuel consumption for Reboot Vans, and said players could Jam on top of them again. Those notes show post-launch implementation and tuning; they do not establish that vans are available in every mode today.

Epic’s Creative documentation for Drivable Reboot Van devices describes a separate device creators can configure for their islands. Its settings include fuel, boost, tires, reboot access, revive access, respawn behavior and recharge time. Those Creative options are not evidence that live Battle Royale uses the same rules.

The November leak report described a dedicated Solo vs Bots mode, but the official sources reviewed do not confirm that this specific mode launched or remains playable. Epic’s August 20, 2026 season announcement and October 1, 2026 Fortnitemares announcement provide later-season context, but neither verifies the mode. That absence is not proof that the mode never existed; its release status remains unverified in these sources.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
So, “Bots Mode” should not be presented as a confirmed Chapter 7 feature on the basis of the leak alone. Players looking for it should check Fortnite’s current in-game mode list or a direct Epic announcement for confirmation.
