What was included at launch?
The announced version began with Chapter 1 – Season 1 and recreated the original Chapter 1 map and loot, with an evolving loot pool. Epic listed Solos, Squads, and Zero Build as launch modes.
Epic also said the mode would retain selected modern quality-of-life features, including present-day building mechanics, sprinting, sliding, mantling, door bashing, and movement while healing. The announcement cited Reboot Vans and sniper scope glare among the mechanics or features included, a 999-resource building cap, and double pump enabled “for now.” These describe the announced launch configuration, not necessarily the current one.

What were the original season and OG Pass dates?
Epic said the OG seasons would be shorter than current Battle Royale seasons. Its initial schedule set January 31, 2025, at 2 AM ET as the end of the first OG season and the deadline to complete the 45-tier OG Pass. Epic said XP earned in any Fortnite experience could count toward pass progress. These are historical launch details; the deadline has passed and does not describe a current offer.
