The most clearly documented free route to Gold in FragPunk is to earn Battle Pass overflow levels, turn their Battle Pass Tokens into Gold in the Battle Pass Store, and claim any Gold offered by active events. Check the live game before relying on match, daily, or passive rewards: older guides report those routes, but their rates may have changed.
Earn Battle Pass Tokens from overflow levels
Complete the Battle Pass, then keep earning Battle Pass experience. FragPunk’s official FAQ says each level earned after completing all Battle Pass levels grants 100 Battle Pass Tokens. It also confirms that the Free Battle Pass receives overflow rewards, so this route does not require a paid pass.
When you have tokens, open the Battle Pass Store and exchange them for Gold. The FAQ notes that purchases have seasonal limits, which reset when a new chapter begins. Check the store’s current limit and exchange options before planning how many tokens you need.
Claim Gold from active events and check-ins
Open the current Events screen, read each event’s requirements, and claim rewards before its deadline. FragPunk’s official Steam announcements show that event rewards can include Gold. For example, a Dreamtime Check-in launched September 17, 2026, with 776 Gold listed, and a September 2026 Dreamtime challenge included 1,000 Gold among its milestone rewards. Those are dated event examples, not guaranteed recurring rewards; check the live event details for availability and amounts.

Check other in-game reward sources
A March 11, 2025 Dot Esports guide reported additional ways to get Gold: playing matches, winning a match for a daily challenge, collecting from Scavenger Imp, claiming a daily free Store bundle, and checking in-game mail. It gave historical figures of about 190 Gold per standard match, 100 Gold for the daily win, and 50 Gold in the daily bundle. These figures have not been established as current rates, so use the current client’s reward screens rather than budgeting around them.

- Check whether Scavenger Imp has accumulated a claimable reward.
- Look for a daily free bundle in the Store and unclaimed rewards in your mailbox.
Use codes only if they are verified
The same 2025 guide describes codes as another possible reward route, but it does not establish that any particular code is still active. Redeem a code only when it comes from a current official announcement or the live game accepts it. Check the mailbox afterward if the game says the reward is delivered there.

Gold is an in-game currency. FragPunk’s PlayStation listing classifies add-ons as virtual currency; physical gaming accessories are not a way to earn it.
