A Fortnite x Chainsaw Man collaboration has been claimed in a leak, and an October reply from Fortnite’s official X account has reignited speculation. Neither event confirms that the crossover is happening: the available reports provide no release date, character lineup, or in-game content.
What prompted the Fortnite x Chainsaw Man rumor?
A January leak said the collaboration was in the works
On January 5, 2026, Insider Gaming reported that leaker SamLeaks claimed Fortnite had begun work on a Chainsaw Man collaboration. The report did not present corroborating material or an official statement from Epic, and it named no release window, characters, or Mythic items. Its mention of SamLeaks’s past Bleach-collaboration reveal is background, not confirmation of this separate claim. Insider Gaming’s January report
An official-account reply sparked fresh speculation
On September 29, a fan posted an image showing Denji, Tanjiro Kamado, and Monkey D. Luffy in a waiting room while Asta was called to Fortnite. Beebom reported the caption as “Got a idea.” The image was fan-made, not a Fortnite announcement or roadmap. Beebom’s account of the fan post
On October 6, Fortnite’s official X account reportedly replied to the image with a ticket stub reading “please take a number”; TalkEsport reported the number as A84. The reply did not name Chainsaw Man or announce a planned release. On October 7–8, outlets covered it as a possible hint. TalkEsport said Epic had not confirmed a crossover, while Insider Gaming described the reply as “far from solid confirmation.” TalkEsport’s report · Insider Gaming’s October report

Is Chainsaw Man confirmed for Fortnite?
No official collaboration announcement is established by the reports available here. The January item is a claim attributed to a leaker; the October item is an ambiguous social-media reply to fan art. Neither is a formal confirmation from Epic or a named company representative. The reported reply is evidence that the account responded, but interpreting it as a tease is speculation.
The distinction matters: a fan-created image is not official content, a leak attribution is not an Epic announcement, and an account reply that does not name the crossover cannot establish its plans. The cited coverage does not independently authenticate the original leak post or the original X reply, so those details should be understood as reported by the outlets.

What characters, skins, and release date have been revealed?
None are confirmed in the cited reports. There is no established release date, skin list, cosmetic bundle, Sidekick, Mythic, or gameplay feature. Names suggested as possibilities in coverage or fan discussion are wish lists, not a reported lineup. The January report specifically said it had no release window, character roster, or Mythic details.

A formal announcement from Epic or the relevant rights holder that names Chainsaw Man and gives concrete collaboration details would settle the question. Until then, the accurate description is that a leaker-attributed development claim and a suggestive but non-specific social reply have fueled speculation—not that the crossover is confirmed.
