How big was Opening Night Live?
Gamescom organizer Koelnmesse said the 2024 event drew 335,000 on-site visitors from around 120 countries. Those are figures for gamescom overall, not attendance at Opening Night Live. In its closing report, Koelnmesse said the showcase had received more than 40 million video views by Saturday evening, double the prior year’s count. The figure is video views, not unique viewers. Koelnmesse’s closing report attributes the statement “gamescom 2024 was a resounding success” to Felix Falk, Managing Director of game – The German Games Industry Association.
Was this every trailer from the show?
No. The list above brings together major items from event roundups and Xbox Wire’s recap, but those sources do not establish a definitive, exhaustive trailer-by-trailer inventory. For the full show, use an archived recording of Opening Night Live rather than treating this selection as complete.
