The free Road to Battlefield Battlepass ran in Battlefield 2042 from August 18 to October 7, 2025. Players also had to redeem its Battlefield 6 rewards by March 31, 2026. Both deadlines have passed, so the pass can no longer be earned and the redemption window is closed.
What was the Road to Battlefield Battlepass?
EA introduced the free 60-tier pass with Battlefield 2042 Update 9.2.0. It offered more than 50 rewards inspired by Battlefield 1, Battlefield V, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4. Six tiers also included Battlefield 6-specific rewards. EA announced at launch that the event would run from August 18 to October 7, 2025, giving players that period to unlock its tiers. EA’s Update 9.2.0 notes describe the original event; those dates are historical, not a current offer.
Which Battlefield 6 rewards were in the pass?
EA’s August 29, 2025 clarification lists the Battlefield 6 items at six tier thresholds. These are the named items EA lists for Battlefield 6, not a count of every reward in each tier. EA’s tier clarification provides the item names.
| Tier | Battlefield era | Battlefield 6 items listed by EA |
|---|---|---|
| 8 | Battlefield 1 | “Storm of Steel” player card background; “Western Front” weapon package; “In the Trenches” player card icon; “Hellfighter” player card title |

Can you still get the Battlefield 6 rewards?
No. Players had to earn the event rewards in Battlefield 2042 before October 7, 2025, then redeem the Battlefield 6-specific items in Battlefield 6 by March 31, 2026. EA Help says it cannot grant content that was not redeemed by that cutoff. Buying either game now does not reopen the event or restore the expired redemption window. EA Help’s Road to Battlefield 6 rewards guidance gives the deadlines and eligibility limits.

Only the Battlefield 6-specific rewards unlocked during the event transferred. Other Battlefield 2042 items did not become Battlefield 6 content through this pass. EA’s Battlefield 6 FAQ states that transfer scope directly.

If you unlocked the rewards before the event ended and redeemed them in Battlefield 6 before March 31, 2026, EA directs you to check the game’s Loadouts tab. If an eligible item is still missing, follow EA Help’s account and inventory checks, then contact EA support with your account, platform, item details, and when and how you obtained it. EA does not guarantee recovery, and its guidance excludes items not earned or redeemed before the deadlines.
