Pearl Abyss describes the camp as a hub for activities between quests and battles; the exact steps and menus can change with patches.
When can you establish Greymane Camp?
Epic Games Store’s walkthrough, published March 19, 2026, places the initial camp-building sequence in Chapter 3: Howling Hill – Homestead. It says the sequence begins after you reach the area and meet Marius. That is dated third-party guidance, not a guarantee that every objective or prompt remains identical in the current game version. The walkthrough describes objectives including securing a tent, carrying sacks, and planting a banner. Follow the active quest objectives in your game if their wording or order differs from that guide.
How do you expand the camp?
Pearl Abyss describes Greymane Camp expansion as a five-stage progression. Its Patch 1.02.00 notes, published April 4, 2026, give the private-storage capacity as 240 slots at the start, rising by 100 slots for each of the first four expansions and by 360 slots for the fifth. That produces a maximum of 1,000 private-storage slots across the five expansions.

What can you do at Greymane Camp?
The camp is more than a storage upgrade. Pearl Abyss presents it as a place to manage activities between quests and battles, while Epic’s March 2026 guide covers recruiting, assigning tasks, dispatch missions, resources, and camp functions that unlock as you progress. Use the current in-game prompts to see what is available to you; the guide does not establish a reliable, patch-current checklist of every unlock condition.
- Manage recruits: The walkthrough covers recruit tasks and camp functions. Check the camp interface for available recruits and their current assignments.
- Send dispatch missions: Dispatch missions are part of camp management. Confirm the displayed resource requirements before committing, as Pearl Abyss later changed how requirements for camp donation missions were displayed.
- Track camp resources: Use the requirements shown in the current game rather than relying on an older list of costs.

Why camp instructions may differ by game version
Camp features have received follow-up changes. Pearl Abyss’s Patch 1.03.00 notes, dated April 11, 2026, mention improvements to Greymane Camp usability. Patch 2.01.00, dated September 4, 2026, includes fixes involving camp furniture and displayed resource requirements for camp donation missions, as well as a Gold Bar Investment Mission. If a guide’s menu names, requirements, or available mission do not match your game, consult the newest official notes and trust the current interface over older instructions.

Known issues to check before raising the Howling Hill banner
Pearl Abyss’s Known Issues notice, published August 25, 2026 and last updated September 8, 2026, reported a possible housing problem if you raise the Howling Hill Camp banner while your inventory is full. The notice also said Greymane faction quests could not progress while playing as Damiane or Oongka. These are reported issues, not outcomes confirmed for every player, and may have been fixed since the notice’s last update.
Before raising the banner, check Pearl Abyss’s current Known Issues notice. If you are playing as Damiane or Oongka and a Greymane faction quest stalls, check that notice for a fix or workaround rather than assuming the quest is permanently unavailable.
