When did God of War Ragnarök come to PC?
The PC version released on September 19, 2024. Sony announced the date on May 30, 2024, and listed Steam and the Epic Games Store as storefronts. For current price, regional availability, and edition details, check the relevant live storefront listing.
Sony also highlighted unlocked frame rates and the option of true 4K resolution. True 4K requires compatible PC hardware and a 4K display. Sony’s announcement describes the PC features.
What are the PC system requirements?
Sony’s support page lists Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB of RAM, and 190 GB of SSD storage for the minimum configuration. Its minimum CPU and GPU are an Intel i5-4670K or AMD Ryzen 3 1200, paired with an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 5500 XT. The listed minimum performance target is an average 1080p at 30 fps on Low settings.

Is a PlayStation account or DualSense controller required?
No. PlayStation account linking is optional, according to Sony’s PC support guidance. A DualSense wireless controller is also optional: Sony described DualSense features for the PC version, but it is an accessory choice, not a game requirement.
