What is the Kitsune pet in Grow a Garden?
Kitsune is a nine-tailed fox pet in Roblox’s Grow a Garden. Beebom and the community-maintained Grow a Garden Wiki date its addition to July 19, 2025, alongside the Zen Event. Roblox’s current game listing describes the game but does not document Kitsune or its availability.
The fox’s appearance may remind players of Naruto, but the sources available for this article do not establish an official Naruto crossover, license, or link to a particular character. The resemblance is a fan-facing association, not a confirmed collaboration.
What does Kitsune’s ability do?
The ability is commonly called “Nine-Tailed Myth.” Beebom’s July 2025 guide and the community wiki describe Kitsune visiting another player’s fruit, applying a mutation, then giving its owner a duplicate. The reported mutations are Chakra and Foxfire Chakra.

That timeline is community-maintained documentation, not an official patch note, so it should be treated as a reported change rather than independently verified current behavior.
How to get Kitsune in Grow a Garden
When the Zen Event was active in July 2025, Beebom reported that Kitsune could hatch from a Zen Egg. Its guide described earning Chi by trading Tranquil fruits, spending 30 Chi on a Zen Egg, or progressing the Zen Tree to earn eggs. It also reported an optional premium Zen Egg for 149 Robux. Those are dated guide details, not confirmed prices or routes today.

Beebom reported a 0.08% chance of hatching Kitsune from a Zen Egg in 2025. The Grow a Garden Wiki lists the same chance, but it is a community source; no official developer confirmation of that rate was identified. The wiki also lists the Zen Egg in the Forever Pack, while Beebom framed it as a Zen Event egg. These accounts do not establish that the egg or pet is currently obtainable.
As of October 2026, the Roblox game listing does not specify current event-shop inventory or Kitsune availability. Check the in-game shop and event menus for the live options rather than relying on the 2025 event guide.

Why Naruto fans may recognize the idea—and what is confirmed
“Kitsune” refers to foxes in Japanese folklore, and a nine-tailed fox is a familiar motif in anime and games, including Naruto. But a shared motif is not evidence of a licensed crossover. The cited guides describe the pet as part of Grow a Garden and do not confirm a Naruto character, partnership, or licensed content.
