Spoilers ahead. To complete the Family Reunion investigation, reach Jova, retrieve the APC keys from the Sergeant in Senedra Forest, search Vitalis’s house and solve its picture-and-code puzzle, then follow the Vigil Note to Vitalis in Vyssa Hills. The route and puzzle solutions below are reported by third-party walkthroughs, not verified as official instructions.
Reach Jova Village
- Head down toward the river and fountain to collect the Gold Medallion.
- Continue to the destroyed farmhouse and enter its cellar. Speak with Ernest Caddell to get the gate key.
- Follow the wind chimes toward the APC and encampment. At OMSIF-0451, collect the Ancient Mechanism.
- Place the mechanism at the altar and set the columns to Fire → Eye → Pick Axe. The ancient door opens onto the route to Jova.

Find the Sergeant and get the APC keys
- In the Senedra Forest dungeon, defeat the first Lymbic Entity.
- Open the large door with Tower → Serpent → Fire. This is a separate combination from the altar puzzle on the way to Jova.
- Find the Sergeant’s body, marked by a red poncho, and take the APC keys.
Two Ram Head medallions along the surrounding route are associated with an optional Secrets of the Ram door. The walkthrough says you can backtrack for that content or continue to the APC; its Sergeant and APC route gives the dungeon directions.
Search Vitalis’s house
Captain Vaas identifies the ON Convoy as Vitalis’s last known route. After the tunnel encounter, speak with Victor Gaz to receive the key to Vitalis’s house.

Collect the clues and pictures
- Search the drawer in the child’s room and the table beneath the clock for family pictures.
- Collect the car keys from the balcony.
- Use the Heirloom Necklace to open the basement chest and take the note and additional picture inside.
Solve the basement lock
Place the pictures so they match the outlines on the basement wall, then enter 321713 on the digital lock. The walkthrough reports that the digits correspond to the cars shown in the pictures; it says the number for the smudged green car can be checked against the car upstairs. Its blacksmith and reunion walkthrough describes this puzzle.
Follow the Vigil Note to Vitalis
In the room beyond the lock, collect the Vigil Note, inspect the five-glyph chest, and take the Greatsword and Lymbic Rod – Grief, W. The note points to Vitalis meeting a journalist at the Weeping Knight. Discuss it with Victor to unlock Vyssa Hills and crafting. The walkthrough also locates Lymbic Rod – Grief, Y behind the red drawers.
