What PlayStation Canada’s page confirms
PlayStation Canada’s Black Friday page says the 2025 event is over. It retains sections for DualSense controllers, PlayStation Gear and Sony Pictures Core offers, but the reviewed page text does not state item-level prices in Canadian dollars or retailer-by-retailer sale windows.
Sony’s global announcement said the promotion would start November 21, 2025, and run for a limited time. It included offers through PlayStation Store, direct.playstation.com where available, PlayStation Gear and participating retailers. Sony did not give one end date that applies to every offer.
Offers Sony announced globally

The listed dollar discounts are in US dollars, not Canadian prices; they do not establish what an item cost in Canada. Sony described the console discounts as applying in select regions, without giving a Canadian price in the announcement.

Why the USD figures are not Canadian deal prices
Sony’s global announcement gives some discounts as dollar amounts but does not label them as Canadian dollars. It also says promotions vary by region and retailer. Isabelle Tomatis, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Vice President of Global Marketing, wrote: “Visit the official PlayStation Black Friday site starting on November 21 for updates on local offers, as promotions will vary by region and retailer.”
For a meaningful Canadian comparison, a deal needs a Canadian retailer or PlayStation Store listing, a verified CAD price and the relevant sale period. The reviewed official sources do not provide those details for individual Canadian items, so converting the US discounts or treating them as Canada’s prices would be misleading.
