If Hogwarts Legacy shows 33/34 Field Guide pages in the West Bell Tower—or a page is not appearing—compare the regional map counter with the Field Guide’s Revelio collection before assuming a page is missing. Players have reported those totals disagreeing, but the reports do not prove every short counter is a bug or that one workaround fixes it.
Why the West Bell Tower counter can say 33/34
The regional map counter and the Field Guide’s Revelio-page collection are separate indicators in player reports. A Steam discussion opened in March 2023, titled “33/34 West Bell Tower Field guide Pages Bug”, describes a missing Accio page and players distinguishing regional totals from Revelio collection or achievement progress. A Reddit discussion also reports a Bell Tower Wing counter discrepancy: “Bugged Field Guide Pages at ‘The Bell Tower Wing’?”. These are anecdotes, not official confirmation that every 33/34 count is erroneous.
So first establish which indicator is incomplete. If Revelio progress is complete, the map’s 33/34 alone does not show that a Revelio page—or an achievement requirement—is missing. If Revelio progress is short, search for an uncollected page rather than treating the regional number as a precise page-by-page diagnosis.
How to troubleshoot a Field Guide page that is not appearing
- Check the Field Guide collection. Compare its Revelio-page progress with the affected region’s map counter. Note whether both are short or only the map counter.
- Revisit likely locations if Revelio progress is incomplete. Use a location list for that region and check each suspected Revelio page in the game. Do not assume the gap must be an invisible page based only on the map total.
- Check other page interactions. Community page-finding coverage distinguishes Revelio pages from Accio pages, Lumos moths, Incendio dragons, and Levioso statues. A map discrepancy may lead players to overlook a different interaction type.
- Verify the required spell or interaction. In the Steam discussion, a player report concerns an Accio page near a fountain that did not appear as expected. Revisit the location and confirm the interaction, but treat this as a reported case rather than a guaranteed fix.
- Interpret repeated page-finder results cautiously. The Nexus Mods Field Guide Page Finder author describes a possible page-recognition problem when the finder repeatedly directs a player to a page already collected. Its corrective controls are PC mod guidance, not an official fix or a console workaround.
What the official patch notes confirm
Portkey Games Support’s May 4, 2023 patch notes, covering PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, list two relevant fixes: a Goblet of Fire Casket Revelio Page that respawned after patching, and the Keenbridge hamlet not showing the Field Guide pages counter on the collectibles tracker. Those named fixes show that specific collectible and tracker problems were addressed; they do not say that all West Bell Tower 33/34 cases were fixed.

The available official notes do not establish whether this exact Bell Tower mismatch persists on every current platform or game version. Check the patch notes for your platform and installed version before concluding that the issue is either current or resolved.

The Nexus Mods page finder describes coverage of 236 pages: 147 Revelio, 39 Accio, 20 Lumos, 15 Incendio, and 15 Levioso. Those are the mod author’s stated figures on an undated page accessed October 8, 2026—not an official statistic or an independently verified current total. Use the page finder as a community location aid, not as proof that an in-game regional counter should match its totals.

Community reports are useful for identifying possible mismatches and missed interactions, but they do not establish how common the issue is or provide a universal repair. In particular, a reported page that did not appear does not show that all players with the same counter need the same remedy.
