Hollow Knight’s 112% completion is a fixed checklist of percentage-bearing tasks—not a measure of every collectible, boss, secret, or challenge in the game. With all free content packs installed, the ledger adds up to 100 base-game points plus 12 more: 6 from The Grimm Troupe, 1 from Lifeblood, and 5 from Godmaster. To earn Pure Completion, reach 112% and then finish the game. The completion counter becomes visible after you acquire World Sense.
What do I need for 112%?
Complete the tasks in the game’s percentage ledger. The Hollow Knight Interactive Map’s checklist, updated September 17, 2026, groups them into 15 categories and 105 scoring items. Most items are worth one point; each of the seven equipment items is worth two.

For the exact task names and locations within each category, use the Hollow Knight Interactive Map’s completion checklist. Its breakdown separates four Grimm Troupe charms into that pack’s points. For mask and Soul Vessel progress, count completed upgrades—not each individual shard or fragment.
Godmaster’s five points
Godmaster contributes one point for the Godtuner and one for each of the first four Pantheons. The fifth, Pantheon of Hallownest, adds no completion percentage. You can reach 112% without clearing it.

What doesn’t count toward the percentage?
The 112% counter is not an “everything completed” meter. The checklist excludes several collections and optional challenges, even though some may lead to rewards, other achievements, story content, or access to counted tasks.
- Grubs: all 46 contribute zero direct percentage. They still unlock Grubfather rewards and the Metamorphosis achievement.
- Whispering Roots and relics: collecting them does not add percentage.
- Charm notches and Stag Stations: neither directly raises the counter.
- Path of Pain: completing it is worth zero percentage. The rest of the White Palace is still needed to obtain the King’s Fragment.
- Pantheon of Hallownest: this fifth Pantheon contributes no percentage; the first four and the Godtuner account for Godmaster’s five points.
Likewise, the ledger requires specific bosses, not every boss in the game. Don’t use an uncompleted optional challenge as evidence that your percentage is stuck.

How to use a checklist or save analyzer
A manual checklist is useful when you want location guidance and prefer to mark off tasks as you play. The Interactive Map checklist includes progression ordering and location screenshots. A save analyzer can instead inspect a supplied save file and report remaining percentage tasks; its author describes the broader “True Completion” feature as experimental.

How 112% relates to Pure Completion and other achievements
Reaching 112% does not award Pure Completion by itself: you must finish the game afterward. The Hollow Knight Wiki says completion achievements are awarded after an ending. It lists these requirements:

The “100%” achievements do not necessarily require 100 points specifically from base-game activities: according to the Hollow Knight Wiki completion reference, points from content packs can substitute for base-game points toward those achievements. That does not change Pure Completion’s 112% requirement.

Why does the counter stop below 112%?
Use the category totals rather than trying to complete every visible activity. Once you have the Godtuner and first four Pantheons, further work in Pantheon of Hallownest cannot raise this counter. Likewise, collecting more grubs, finishing Path of Pain, or gathering relics will not fill a missing percentage point.
Check the ledger categories in order: charms, required bosses, equipment, Warrior Dreams, spells, nail and mask upgrades, nail arts, Soul Vessel upgrades, Dreamers, Dream Nail milestones, Colosseum trials, and content-pack tasks. A manual list or save analyzer can identify the missing counted task; optional goals outside the ledger are not the fix.
