To connect your PlayStation Network account to Ubisoft, sign in to Ubisoft Account Information, open Linked accounts, choose Link beside PlayStation Network, and complete the sign-in prompt. Confirm afterward that the intended PlayStation account appears under Linked accounts.
Link PlayStation Network from Ubisoft Account Information
- Go to Ubisoft Account Information and sign in to the Ubisoft account you want associated with PlayStation Network.
- Open Linked accounts.
- Find PlayStation Network and select Link.
- Follow the sign-in instructions in the pop-up. Check that you are authorizing the PlayStation account and Ubisoft account you intend to use.
- Return to Linked accounts and verify that PlayStation Network is listed as connected.
Ubisoft also documents an in-game route: start a Ubisoft game and sign in to Ubisoft Connect when prompted. The exact prompt and availability can depend on the game. Ubisoft’s account-linking instructions describe both options.
What to do if PlayStation says it is already linked
A linking error may mean that the PlayStation account is already attached to a different Ubisoft account. Check which Ubisoft account is currently signed in, then inspect its Linked accounts page. If the PlayStation account is associated with another Ubisoft account and you need it connected to a different one, contact Ubisoft Support for help. Ubisoft’s general instructions do not explain individual error codes, so an error alone does not establish which account holds the link.
Do not assume that unlinking the account or creating another Ubisoft account will recover the association. Ubisoft says you can unlink an external account, but its general guidance says you can only relink the same platform account that was originally connected; connecting a different platform account may require support.

Understand the risks before unlinking
Ubisoft warns that linking or unlinking external accounts can have lasting effects on games and subscriptions. A separate Ubisoft help page says unlinking can remove access to content bought through the affected platform store. That warning does not establish that every Ubisoft game handles purchases identically, so check the guidance for the specific game before changing account links. For Honor has a separate, irreversible merge prompt
Do not treat For Honor’s cross-progression rules as general Ubisoft account-linking policy. In its FAQ published September 4, 2025, Ubisoft lists PlayStation Network as a participating platform and says only one account per participating platform can be linked. For Honor’s merge prompt is a separate process from simply linking an account: Ubisoft warns, “Please note that after confirming, this process is irreversible.” Read the current prompt and verify the accounts it lists before accepting it. What For Honor’s merge does—and does not do
- Ubisoft says specified inventory and progression synchronize for linked accounts.
- You still need to own For Honor on each platform where you want to play; cross-ownership is not implemented.
- After a merge, progress remains on the Ubisoft account involved even if an account is later relinked elsewhere.
- The FAQ describes a maximum of two unlink-and-relink changes to a different Ubisoft account in that particular merge context. This is a For Honor-specific rule, not a general limit for Ubisoft account linking.
For other Ubisoft games, cross-progression, purchase access, and the effects of unlinking vary. Check the current official guidance for the game before changing accounts.
