Was Hollow Knight: Silksong coming out in 2025?
It has already released. Team Cherry’s official announcement said, “Hollow Knight: Silksong is available now!” Its current game catalog lists the title as available across its supported platforms. The Gamescom demo announcement was part of the lead-up to release, not a sign that the game is still forthcoming.

Was there a new Silksong demo at Gamescom 2025?
Yes. In its July 28, 2025 Gamescom lineup, Xbox Wire announced that attendees could “Play Hollow Knight: Silksong with a new demo – on PC or ROG Xbox Ally X.” This described the demo setup at the Xbox booth. It did not mean the full game was exclusive to PC or the ROG Xbox Ally X.
