Open the EA app, sign in to the EA Account used for the purchase, and select Library. A digital game bought through the EA app should appear there, ready to install. If it is missing, check the order and account before troubleshooting the app.
Find a game in the EA app
- Launch the EA app and sign in to the EA Account used when you bought the game.
- Select Library.
- Choose the game tile and select its install or download option.
EA says a digital game purchased through the EA app is automatically added to the Library. See EA’s download and play instructions.
If the game is not in your Library
1. Check Order History
Sign in to your EA Account, open Payment and Wallet > Order History, and find the transaction. EA’s order-history page shows the order date, number, description, status, and price; expand an order for more details. You can also access EA account support tools through EA Help Self-Service Tools.
2. Read the order status and allow time for processing
EA says most orders process within 24 hours, though some can take up to 72 hours. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. An order marked Completed has been paid successfully and its content is ready. Failed means payment did not succeed; Canceled means the content will not be delivered. Check the status and refund details in EA’s order-history guide.

3. Make sure you are using the right EA Account
If the order does not appear, sign in with other email addresses you may have used to create an EA Account. A purchase recorded on a different account will not show in the current account’s Library.
4. Check where and what you bought
- Bought from another store: A purchase made outside the EA app store may require you to redeem a product code. Follow the retailer’s instructions. For purchases made directly through PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or another storefront, check that platform’s account and order history and its code-redemption steps.
- Bought DLC or an add-on: EA says only full games appear as Library entries. Open the base game’s three-dot menu and choose Manage add-ons to find downloadable content.
- Accessed through EA Play: If you do not own the game separately, check that your EA Play membership is active; subscription access depends on membership.

5. Check for account restrictions
If the transaction, account, and content type all look right, check whether an account ban or suspension is affecting access.

6. Refresh the EA app
- Clear the EA app cache and restart the app.
- If the game is still missing, sign out of the app and sign back in.
- If those steps do not help, reinstall the EA app.
- Contact EA support if you still cannot access a completed purchase.
