Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minutePC Slower Than It Used to Be?

Both routes open the MCCC computer settings menu.
Open MCCC settings from an in-game computer
- Click a computer in the active household’s lot.
- Select MC Command Center from the interaction menu.
- Choose the setting or submenu you want to change.
This is the point-and-click route described in the official MCCC documentation.
Open the settings menu with a console command
- Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open The Sims 4 cheat console.
- Type
mc_settings. - Press Enter.
The MCCC documentation describes mc_settings as opening the MC Command Center computer menu for configuring settings. It works without a computer on the current lot and is the documented alternative when Computer Menus are turned off. See the official command documentation.
Know which MCCC menu contains the option
MCCC settings are accessed through the computer menu, but not every MCCC feature appears there. Sim-specific commands are generally on a Sim’s MC Command Center menu; MC Cheats commands can appear on Sims or mailboxes. The official MCCC FAQ notes that module contents affect where a menu appears: MC Woohoo has settings but no Sim commands, so it appears on computers, while MC Cheats has commands but no settings, so it appears on Sims or mailboxes rather than computers.

If MC Command Center is missing
A shift-click menu is not the MCCC menu. The MCCC FAQ says shift-click options belong to the game’s Testing Cheats/Debug menus or another mod. When MCCC is loaded, the official troubleshooting guide says you should be able to click a computer or a Sim and see an MC Command Center menu.
If neither menu appears, check the installation before assuming a particular option should be present:
