Find Mottled Skarr in Hunter’s March, in the room directly north of the area bench. Check the west wall for a concealed passage; the trap-filled tunnel beyond it requires Swift Step to cross.
Where to find Mottled Skarr
- Reach Hunter’s March from the Marrow and make your way to the area bench.
- Enter the room directly north of the bench and inspect its west wall for a hidden passage.
- Use Swift Step to cross the hazardous, trap-filled tunnel and reach the merchant.
Hunter’s March is Skarr territory, so expect traps and hostile encounters as you explore. The hidden merchant route is in the area’s eastern rooms.

When Mottled Skarr becomes unavailable
Skarr does not remain available as a living merchant throughout the story. After Hornet defeats the Cogwork Dancers, rings the bell in First Shrine, or acquires Clawline, resting at a bench outside Hunter’s March results in his death. If you want to buy from him directly, visit before triggering one of those progression milestones and resting elsewhere. Unpurchased Fractured Mask and Curveclaw can still be recovered afterward, though the latter requires getting through an enemy gauntlet.
