On PC, open Skyrim’s in-game console and enter prid 000A2C94, press Enter, then enter moveto player and press Enter. This community-reported sequence moves Lydia to your character. If you cannot use the console, retrace your route, check where you told her to wait, and try fast travel.
Teleport Lydia to you on PC
- Open Skyrim’s in-game console. This command advice is for the PC version where the console is available.

prid 000A2C94and press Enter. A Steam Community discussion identifies000A2C94as Lydia’s reference ID and reports this sequence: “Lydia Dissapeared,” posted November 13, 2016. - Enter
moveto playerand press Enter. This directs Lydia to your character, according to the same player discussion.
This is community guidance, not an official Bethesda command guide. The available reports do not establish that the method works across every edition, keyboard layout, or modded game.

Go to Lydia instead
If you want your character to move to Lydia’s location, enter player.moveto 000A2C94 in the PC console. The same Steam Community discussion reports this as the reverse direction; it moves the player to Lydia rather than bringing Lydia to the player.

Moving Lydia’s character to you does not establish whether she is alive or fix every possible stuck, invisible, or quest-state problem. One player report describes teleporting Lydia without making her visible, but that is an anecdote rather than proof that the command generally fails: Steam Community discussion “I cannot find Lydia!”, posted July 28, 2019. Treat a failed attempt as a game-state-specific issue; the cited sources do not establish a safe general procedure for more invasive fixes.
