The current US Xbox listing says cloud play is included with Game Pass Ultimate. It also says streaming under Essential or Premium requires purchasing the game. What the game includes
Steam describes Hornet as captured and taken to the unfamiliar kingdom of Pharloom, where she fights, solves mysteries and climbs toward its peak. The product page lists exploration, acrobatic combat, crafting weapons and tools, and quests; its claims of over 200 foes and over 40 bosses are publisher-provided feature descriptions, not independently measured counts.

Steam classifies the game as single-player. PlayStation lists one-player support and offline play. Steam and Xbox listings indicate controller-related support, but a controller is not established as a requirement, and these listings do not identify a single best model.

Team Cherry announced on December 15, 2025 that Sea of Sorrow is planned for 2026 and will be free for all players. The announcement describes new areas, bosses and tools, but does not give a release date. Check the official announcement for current timing rather than assuming the expansion has shipped.
