Yes. Xbox confirmed on July 28, 2025, that a new Hollow Knight: Silksong demo would be playable at its Gamescom booth on PC or ROG Xbox Ally X. Gamescom ran August 20–24 in Cologne, Germany; the demo was a past show-floor opportunity, not a current public download.
Where the Silksong demo was playable
Xbox placed its booth in Hall 7 of Koelnmesse, at the North entrance. Its July 28 announcement described the demo as playable “on PC or ROG Xbox Ally X” and included it among third-party partner demos at the Xbox booth. Xbox also offered hands-on time with its handhelds, including with Silksong. The announcement did not specify differences in demo content, controls, graphics, or performance between the two devices.
Gamescom 2025 took place in Cologne from August 20–24. Xbox listed consumer show hours for August 21–24. Details of the booth and demo appeared in Xbox Wire’s Gamescom 2025 announcement.
