Its published instructions do not specify the exact button or prompt for trusting a newly used device, so follow the controls shown in your account rather than looking for a guaranteed button name.
Where to manage trusted devices
Ubisoft’s 2-Step Verification with mobile app guidance places trusted-device management under Account Management → Security → 2-Step Verification. The article confirms the location but does not describe a device-specific add action or establish that every platform or account displays the same prompt.
Sign in to Account Management, open Security, and review the controls in the 2-Step Verification section. If the option you need is not shown, consult Ubisoft Support; do not assume that a particular checkbox, device limit, or confirmation prompt exists.
Set up 2-Step Verification with an authenticator app
If you have not enabled authenticator-based verification, Ubisoft documents this route:

- Sign in to Ubisoft Account Management and open Security.
- Find 2-Step Verification and choose Activate for the authenticator method.
- Provide the requested information. Ubisoft may ask for a recovery phone number; choose Send to receive setup instructions at the email address on your account.
- Open Ubisoft’s email link and follow its instructions to configure a compatible authenticator app.
- Save the six recovery codes Ubisoft provides somewhere secure. Ubisoft gives local storage and a password manager as examples.
- Return to Security to review trusted-device management and use the controls currently displayed there.
If the setup email does not arrive
- Confirm you can access the email address associated with your Ubisoft account, then check spam, junk, and promotions folders.
- Ubisoft recommends whitelisting
[email protected],[email protected], and[email protected]. See its email troubleshooting guidance. - If you cannot sign in through the email route and a platform account is already linked, Ubisoft says you may be able to sign in to Account Management with that platform account.
- If those steps do not restore access, or you suspect someone has compromised the account, follow Ubisoft’s account recovery process.
Check account activity and protect access
Ubisoft recommends enabling 2-Step Verification, keeping account credentials secure, and regularly reviewing login history in Account Management’s Security section. Its account-security guidance also advises using a strong password and securing the email account tied to Ubisoft. Ubisoft states: “Activating 2-Step verification on your Ubisoft account will allow you to see if someone attempts to access your account.”
