To get the containers into position, use the forklift to reach the area behind the electric fence, weigh down its small pressure plate with the small crate to shut off the electricity, then move the two containers to the gate.
Make sure you are at the right quarry door
This solution is for the Quarry Rescue gate marked by two pressure plates and the objective “Find a way to open the door.” Aburrey Quarry has other locked doors: if you see a keycard reader instead of two plates, you are at the separate Listening Post gate associated with a Worn Keycard, and these crate steps do not apply. Use the forklift and crate route to reach the far side

Continue along the Quarry Rescue route until you reach the gate with two pressure plates.

Move the accessible container in front of the container on the right. Go down into the container and around the corner to find the forklift.

Activate the forklift to raise the box, then climb across the crates to the opening behind the electric fence.

Move the small crate in that area onto its pressure plate. The plate turns off the electricity and lets you pass.
Put one tall container on each gate plate
Move a double container onto the center pressure plate. Then take the other tall container—the one used for the climbing route—and place it on the remaining plate by the gate. PowerPyx calls them “double containers,” while Game8 describes them as “two tall Drop Crates”; both guides give the same essential solution: hold down both gate plates with tall movable crates. PowerPyx’s walkthrough has the detailed route, and Game8’s Quarry Rescue guide describes the crates.

Once both plates are weighted, go through the open gate. The route continues to an elevator leading up toward Ramon.

Guide descriptions differ on the prerequisite. PowerPyx lists the side mission as starting automatically after Main Mission 10 – Fort Showdown; Game8 says it unlocks after Paving the Way and that Fiona sends a message on the Baker. These accounts do not establish a single reconciled prerequisite, so if Quarry Rescue has not appeared, use the quest availability shown in your game rather than assuming either label is definitive. PowerPyx and Game8 provide those differing descriptions.
