The historical Infection Gunfight quest asked players to earn 200 score in regular modes, then open The Hunt section with M to unlock the Hunt Token badge and reward. Roblox says The Hunt: Mega Edition is over, however, and it is not confirmed whether Infection Gunfight still offers the quest or awards its token.
Historical Infection Gunfight token instructions
A third-party guide updated March 14, 2025, reported the following steps for the limited-time quest. These are historical instructions, not confirmation that the reward can still be earned.
- Join Infection Gunfight. The guide said players could enter directly or reach the experience through the event hub portal.
- Play regular modes and earn 200 score. The guide listed surviving longer, killing zombies, and infecting humans as ways to score.
- Open The Hunt section. After reaching 200 score, press M and use the in-game Hunt section to unlock the Hunt Token badge and reward, as described by the guide.
Can you still earn the token?
Roblox’s official Hunt hub says, “The Hunt: Mega Edition is officially over,” and reports no running experiences. The available sources do not establish whether the separate Infection Gunfight experience still runs the old quest or issues its reward. Treat the steps above as a record of how the event quest worked, not a guarantee of present-day availability.
What The Hunt: Mega Edition was
In an April 8, 2025 retrospective, Roblox said the event brought tens of millions of players to its hub and ran for 11 days. Roblox VP of Developer Relations Matt Curtis wrote that its initial stages featured 25 games with quests offering hidden tokens. The current hub description separately thanks players for 12 days of competition, so Roblox’s sources describe the event duration differently.
