To get Siesbarg, start the quest chain by obtaining the Vial of Tka’ktath’s Blood from Tka’ktath in Salien Gutters, Azj-Kahet. Complete the six quests in order, including the three material-gathering steps, and finish Consolation Flies to receive the flying mount. The chain is reported as an outdoor rare-and-quest reward, not a raid drop.
Where to start the Siesbarg quest chain
Travel to Salien Gutters in Azj-Kahet and look for the rare Tka’ktath. The community-maintained Warcraft Wiki’s Siesbarg reference identifies the rare as the source of the Vial of Tka’ktath’s Blood, which begins the chain. The available source does not establish a current spawn timer or drop chance, so neither a wait time nor a guaranteed number of kills can be stated.
Quest order and materials needed
Follow the chain in this order. The quantities below are material targets listed in ConCon’s September 3, 2024 Siesbarg farming guide; they are quest requirements, not drop-rate statistics.
- The Beginning of Something Beautiful: Begin the chain with the Vial of Tka’ktath’s Blood.
- Those Are Chitin Words: Gather 1,500 Nerubian Chitin.
- Venom? More Like Get ’Em: Gather 1,000 Nerubian Venom.
- A Small Ocean’s Worth of Blood: Gather 500 Nerubian Blood.
- Witnessing Brilliance: Complete the next quest in the chain.
- Consolation Flies: Finish the final quest to receive Siesbarg.
Return to the quest giver and advance the chain when a material objective is complete. Siesbarg is a flying mount taught by using the mount item.

What is established—and what is not
The documented route is an outdoor rare followed by quests and material gathering. Although Azj-Kahet is also home to Nerub-ar Palace, Siesbarg is not described as a raid reward. Blizzard’s The War Within launch announcement places Azj-Kahet in the expansion setting; its Season 1 announcement identifies Nerub-ar Palace as an eight-boss raid in the zone.
The cited guide and community reference do not establish a current best farming route for the materials, whether dungeon difficulty changes yields, or any faction restriction or minimum level. Check the live quest tracker for the active objectives if they differ from the quantities above.
