Why the words fit

Yellow: FLUSTERED STATE

“In a lather,” “in a stew,” “in a sweat,” and “in a tizzy” are expressions for agitation or anxious upset.

Green: FITNESS

CONDITION, FORM, HEALTH, and SHAPE can each refer to physical fitness or its state.

Blue: FAST-MOVING WATER

CASCADE, CURRENT, RAPID, and WAVE are water-related terms that describe forms or movement of water.

Purple: DISHWASHER CYCLES

NORMAL, QUICK, RINSE, and SANITIZE are dishwasher cycle settings. LATHER and RAPID may look like plausible appliance-related distractors, but they belong to the flustered-state and fast-moving-water groups, respectively.
