How to get the Gannon family Tesla armor
- Recruit Arcade Gannon and progress For Auld Lang Syne. The quest involves finding five former Enclave Remnants and gathering them for a meeting about the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. The available evidence does not establish a specific fame, reputation, quest-completion, or dialogue-skill threshold for starting it.
- Visit the five Remnants with Arcade. Collect the password pieces they provide; these are needed to open the Remnants bunker’s inner rooms.
- At the quest’s conclusion, choose for Arcade to return to Freeside. Do not choose the outcome where he fights alongside the Remnants if your goal is the armor.
- Meet Arcade outside the bunker. In the return-to-Freeside outcome, he gives you the Gannon family Tesla armor there.
The quest and its conclusion are described on the Fallout Wiki’s For Auld Lang Syne page; the password pieces and reward outcome are covered on its Remnants bunker page.
#1 Best Overall
- Not even nuclear fallout could slow the hustle of Sin City. Explore the vast expanses of the desert wastelands
- Feuding Factions, Colorful Characters and a Host of Hostiles
- Enjoy new additions to Fallout: Special melee combat moves have been added to bring new meaning to the phrase "up close and personal"
- With double the amount of weapons found in Fallout 3
- In a huge, open world with unlimited options you can see the sights, choose sides, or go it alone
What the final choice changes
Arcade’s choice affects more than the reward: the quest outcomes also affect whether the Remnants participate in the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. Arcade becomes permanently unavailable as a companion after the quest outcome, so consider that before deciding. The Fallout Wiki’s Enclave remnants page discusses the Remnants’ role.
