In a Roblox experience, open the in-game menu and select Emotes to open the emote wheel, if that experience offers it. On PC, you can also open chat with / and enter a command such as /e wave. On mobile, look for Emotes in the experience’s controls menu; the exact layout can vary.
Use the emote wheel on PC or mobile

Join a Roblox experience.

Open the in-experience hamburger menu or controls menu.

Select Emotes to open or toggle the emote wheel, then choose an emote. Roblox says the menu shows controls enabled for that particular experience, so the option may not appear everywhere. Roblox Experience Controls
On a phone or tablet, use the experience’s on-screen menu and tap Emotes if it is listed. Roblox’s documentation identifies the Emotes control but does not specify one universal mobile button position.

Type a command such as

If the emote option or command is unavailable

No Emotes control: The experience’s menu lists controls enabled for that experience. If Emotes is missing, that experience may not have the wheel enabled.

Chat command does not work: Roblox says emote chat commands are unavailable when chat is disabled in the experience. Use the wheel if it is available instead.
