How to relocate your Territory
- Open the Territory or construction interface. The official construction guide describes entering construction mode and opening the build menu. Its instructions date to February 2023, so the current interface may look different.
- Select Move Territory. Official guidance describes the function as packing up buildings so they can be relocated. The available sources do not provide a complete, current button-by-button sequence for every platform, so follow the control prompt displayed in your game.
- Position the relocation preview. Move it to the desired destination and use the preview’s Territory-range display and acceptance feedback to judge placement. An official January 2024 maintenance notice confirms the preview displays Territory range; it does not specify every location or terrain rule.
- Confirm only when the game accepts the location. Use the on-screen confirmation prompt. If placement is rejected, adjust the preview and follow the message shown in your interface.
Moving to another World is not moving to another server
Once Human uses “World” and “server” for different boundaries. The official servers and seasons guide says you can switch Worlds within a server and use Move Territory to bring your constructed buildings to a new World. That is not a transfer to a different server.

What happens to your buildings and items?
The official material establishes that Move Territory relocates buildings, but it does not provide a current, item-by-item account of what happens to every facility, furnishing, or storage item. Do not assume that every object will be automatically arranged exactly as it was, or that all contents are guaranteed to arrive in a particular state.
The construction guide separately says Hive member structures that are lost or dismantled are sent to a private Vault for retrieval. That is specific guidance about Hive structures, not a complete inventory of how a Territory move handles every item class.

If the placement preview rejects your location
- Move the preview and use its displayed Territory range and live acceptance feedback; the official notice confirms that range is shown.
- Read the current error message and adjust the destination rather than assuming the game permits every terrain or location.
- Community reports from September 2026 mention range errors and a ten-minute cooldown, but these are player reports, not an official universal placement rule or cooldown specification.
Controls and building updates can change
Some PC guides and player discussions mention keyboard shortcuts such as B and Z, but the available official guidance does not verify a current shortcut sequence across platforms. Use the controls shown in your own interface instead.
In a May 27, 2026 developer update, the team discussed work on blueprint grid alignment and the challenges of terrain height, collisions, and full-blueprint alignment. It forecast a second-half 2026 release; that update does not establish that the feature had shipped by October 8, 2026.
