To reach Harko Village, fly your Ornithopter to the edge of Hagga Basin, open the Overland Map, select Harko Village to track it, then follow the direction marker. If you would rather not fly, ask an Ornithopter Pilot for a taxi. Check the fare shown in-game: published guides disagree on the price from tradeposts.

Take an Ornithopter Pilot taxi
Talk to an Ornithopter Pilot at a tradepost or in Arrakeen and choose the travel option for Harko Village. The reported fares conflict at tradeposts: Game8 reports 2,500 Solari, while the Dune: Awakening Community Wiki lists 700 Solari from tradeposts and 2,500 Solari from Arrakeen or Harko Village. Treat those as reported prices, not a guaranteed current fare; check the amount displayed by the pilot in your build.
| Route | What you need | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Self-flown | A player-owned Ornithopter; use the Overland Map at the edge of Hagga Basin and track Harko Village. | No fare is stated in the route guide. |
| Taxi | An Ornithopter Pilot at a tradepost or in Arrakeen. | Tradepost fare is reported as either 700 or 2,500 Solari by the Community Wiki and Game8, respectively. The Community Wiki lists 2,500 Solari from Arrakeen or Harko Village. Verify the in-game fare. |
The available sources do not establish which route is faster.

If your Ornithopter spawns out of reach after travel
Funcom’s Known Issues page, updated September 28, 2026, lists a single-player issue in which Ornithopters can spawn in the air after travel to Hagga Basin or the Deep Desert. Its suggested workarounds are to use a suspensor belt or shigawire to reach the vehicle, or leave the session and rejoin. The same entry advises using upper entry points to Hagga Basin to avoid the worm. This reported issue concerns travel transitions; it does not say that Harko Village itself is inaccessible. Check Funcom Help Center Known Issues for the current status.
