How to use the clues to solve the puzzle
Start with the meaning: the first clue points toward a description of someone’s manner, while the later clues suggest force rather than refinement. The two-vowel clue can help filter possible five-letter words, but treat it as a constraint rather than a guess by itself.
Use the colored results from your guesses to check the remaining possibilities. A letter marked green is in the correct position; yellow means it appears somewhere else in the answer; black means it is absent. PC Gamer’s Wordle rules and tips recommend opening with varied common consonants and vowels, then using a later guess to test common letters you have not tried while avoiding letters already ruled out. No single starter is guaranteed to be best.

How Wordle guesses and feedback work
Wordle gives you six attempts to enter a five-letter word. After each valid guess, the colors indicate how its letters compare with the hidden answer:
- Green: the letter is in the answer and in that exact position.
- Yellow: the letter is in the answer, but in a different position.
- Black: the letter is not in the answer.
Letters can repeat in Wordle answers generally, so do not assume otherwise unless the puzzle’s clues or your feedback support it. For #1160, the dated guide says there is no double letter.
