How the puzzle works
Strands is a themed word search: trace adjacent letters in any direction to form each word, without reusing or crossing letters. The spangram describes the theme and touches opposite sides of the board. According to Try Hard Guides, finding three non-theme words of at least four letters earns a hint that reveals a theme word.
Optional hint-unlock words
TechRadar lists TRIP, TEEN, TRIM, SKATE, PARE, and LEAP as words that can help unlock hints. Its guide says PARTNERS begins at the right edge in the first row and ends at the left edge in the eighth row; use that as a placement clue, not a requirement for understanding the answer.
